Its a typical role of Kevin J O'Connor, yes coincidently called O'Connor :D
Ive seen him in several movies and i always like his apearance, the guy is hilarious.
Deep Rising is another little big "horror" movie with him wich has some very funny scenes.
So no, Beni isnt annoying to me, if anything, he is stealing the show.

He is annoying but I find in some scenes he kind of steals the show.
Pretty good when he comes across High Priest Omhotep......haha.
I didn't find him annoying at all. He comes across well onscreen for me. He usually steals the show in Stephen Sommers films for me.

I was actually really disappointed when he died, cause that meant he wouldn't be in the sequel
shareMe too, I enjoyed his villainous comedic scenes actually!
shareHe set the time for the first film, but his death was gruesome and wouldn't fit in the sequels as they were more straight forward.
shareThe character's comedic timing is really something and I missed him in the sequel.
shareIt was a mistake to kill him, even though it suited the spirit of the film. Beni is annoying character but not annoying to watch, this is what make him such a great entertainment. He is funny and his chemistry with O'Connell is priceless.
