China Chow

It has always bothered me how China had the main female role in this film yet Christina Applegate's picture is on the back cover of this movie and China's face is nowhere to be seen.

That always bothered me too. But that's life for ya.

Side note: Graeme Revell's music here is probably his best score after The Crow or Strange Days. Just sayin'.

reply

That's because she was really a nobody at the time of this movie and Christina Applegate was a big star.

BUT, having said that, China was just mesmerizingly gorgeous and sexy. Much better looking than Christina.

reply

Well she was gagged through much of the film so she did't have much dialogue. She did good with what she had though.

Christina really sold the part of being the clueless and naïve trophy wife. She was huge in the 90's, and having her name on the box cover would undoubtedly help sales and distribution more so than Chow. It's all about the Benjamins.

That she did. It was girlfriend actually. That was the point in meeting the prospective in-laws.

But China Chow was great in her debut role. Managed to be both sexy and funny.
