DVD soon

I read on Newsaskew that Big Helium Dog would hopefully be released early 2004 and that was said by the great Smith himself, lets just keep our fingers crossed.

Well...three years later and no DVD.

where is it? Does Kevin Smith think this movie isnt worth watching, cause that's what it seems like from the fact that it's not on DVD. After seeing a trailer for this many years ago i wanted to watch it so bad. I never got the chance though :(
Why waste time makeing a movie and than not show it. I mean im sure it was shown at some film festival somewhere to a room full of people, but come on us fans want it and your hideing it somewhere locked away from us.

I seem to recall Brian Lynch saying some time ago that one of the reasons there's still no DVD is they have to work out the music rights and it's just not that pressing of an issue for him right now. I saw it at Vulgarthon in 2005 and I thought it was absolutely hilarious. Alot of people there trashed it though, I think it was mostly because Lynch was someone they didn't know. After the screening of Jeff Anderson's movie 'Now You Know' (which was honestly okay but nothing special), the audience just gushed on and on about how amazing it was. But Big Helium Dog was much more original and much funnier than.... well most comedies I've seen in the past decade.

Nope... it still remains in the pile of unreleased Kevin Smith DVD's, alongside "Chasing Amy X" and "Oh, What A Lovely Tea Party."

Oh, What A Lovely Tea Party will be among the bonus material for Clerks on Blu-Ray (and DVD, I seem to recall Smith saying).
