Thank you Sharris, this did help. I was watching this just today for the first time on the FX channel and thought because I came into the movie in the middle that I missed something important that would make the show flow alittle more smoother. This helped put the pieces together

Very good synopsis, explained so much! Thank you. I think this is a great movie, beautiful scenery and deep story.

Thank you for that link to the over view, but I will say that the movie was nothing like that. It left out everything. I guess I will read the book...maybe it will make more sense.
