It would've been a lot better if Diaz and Keener switched parts

I just couldn't digest that Keener was portrayed as the hot one!

couldve been either woman beingthe hot one imo. They had cameron looking like a hobo though

Why? Diaz only looks good when she's been glammed up. Keener was hot in the movie and they are both great actresses so...

Diaz was pretty for like 10 minutes, but resembled a sun-baked frog for most of her career. Keener was incredibly alluring in this film.

Keener was real sexy and hot with her attitude throughout the whole movie. She does more for me on the eyes then Diaz ever does. Catherine Keener was perfect in this

Funny how a bad wig suddently made Diaz unattractive.

I read somewhere that Cameron Diaz took the role because because she wanted to play a Plain Jane role. She wasn't that unattractive even without makeup and the fright wig. Catherine Keener was fantastic although she reminded me of Linda Fiorentino's man-eating seductress in "The Last Seduction." I might add that Linda would have probably done a great job playing Keener's Maxine Lund character.
