Doesn't this kind of defeat the whole purpose?

I don't think the grandpa cared about true love. He even talked about how marriage sucks. He just wanted his grandson to settle down and have kids.

i dont think the grandpa intended on him being single by his 30th bday either! he prob assumed he d be dating someone and wanted him to *beep* or get off the pot.
