Babe voice.

Why is there a different actress voicing Babe in the sequel?

reply

I also figured out the same question and figured out an answer(hopefully).
Hmm,in Babe, the voice actor was Christine Cavanaugh or Christina Cavanaugh.
3 years later,Babe 2 came out.I suspect Christine must have grown and her voice had change...har!!!

Christine Cavanaugh is a grown woman so voice change wouldn't make any difference. She plays the voice of Chuckie in "Rugrats". This film Babe is voiced by Elizabeth Daily who plays the voice of Tommy in "Rugrats" funny enough. I would assume there was schedule conflicts or something but I'm not sure. Has there ever been an official reason?

reply

Or maybe she wanted too much money.

EG is also young Mumble in Happy Feet, which uses the same director, writers, and amazing Aussie tech studio as the far superior to the first, 'Pig in the City'.

Salary disputes. Babe in the sequel acts like Tommy Pickles from Rugrats, and her VA is one reason.
