Are Armageddon, The Rock, and Bad Boys part of the same universe?

On top of being Michael Bay and Jerry Bruckhiemer flicks, there was some scene recycling between the trinity of flicks. Also the same actor played the President in both THE ROCK and ARMEGGEDON. Not to mention the night club, jiggle joint the guys hit in ARMEGGEDON was the same in BAD BOYS.

Michael Bay has a stable of actors he likes to work with. He also recycled shots in the Transformer movies.

Not much different than James Cameron with Bill Paxton, Michael Biehn, Sigourney Weaver, et al.

There's something on the IMDb trivia section that mentions that The Rock and Armageddon are in the same universe because the actor who plays the president is the same. I think they did something similar with the character of newsanchor "Gail Wallins" (I am not sure if that name is accurate). She is in the movie Ricochet and also plays the same character in Die Hard.
