I can't believe I've seen this movie about 3 times...once all the way through and other times in parts now and again.

It's awful, but it's like a car accident that you can't help but look at in passing...I can feel the minutes of my life waste away as I, for some reason, shake my head in disbelief at what I'm watching.

It's on T.V. right now and in the span of 5 minutes it went from full on action and suspense, to comedy to absolute over the top sentimental cheese. It's amazingly strange.

If you're like me, I have a soft spot in my heart for apocalyptic/crazy sci-fi movies...even the real cheesy ones that SyFy puts out. I'm not sure if it's the special effects (good and bad and really bad) that get me or the outrageous story lines, they just get a hold on me and won't let go. Deep Impact, 2012, Core, even...dare I say...Sharknado and Sharktopus, have that same effect on me. I know they're bad but I love to watch them. I guess you could say they are my crack.

I agree. For me, it's one of those movies I want to change the channels. It's on. I check other stuff on TV and ended up leaving it on. There are good parts, but otherwise, an average cheesy, unavoidable mess. My favorite character was Rockhound.

I've seen it like 12-15 times. No regrets, its not Shakespeare but its a very entertaining movie...

Watch it everytime its on amc. Watched it 2 wks ago and just finished it again! Love this movie!

It may not be Citizen Kane but who cares..? that's boring

I watch this everytime it comes on TV. As a matter of fact Im watching it on AMC right now. I love this movie!

I rewatch it every now and again. It's silly, clichés ridden and with huge gooey dollops of cringworthy sentimentality - but it has to admitted, it's fun.
