Expletive Replaced with word 'Damn'

I just want to know if anyone else thought that General Mandible (Gene Hackman) mouthed the word "$hit" where he actually said "Damn". I know I saw that... I don't think it was my imagination.

I forget which scene it is now, so unfortunately I can't really direct anyone. I think it's somewhere after the first 45 mins, not that that helps.
