Hanging Quote

Much like Hangman, the object is to attempt to figure out the mystery quote & the character who delivered it.

All you do is guess a letter. Used letters are listed below the puzzle. The slashes represent spaces between words. The speaker of the quote appears after the double-slash. Otherwise, the punctuation is as it would normally appear, just like in Hangman.

You could peek at the memorable quotes link, but that would diminish the fun, so please don't, unless you're life-threateningly stumped.

Get either the quote or character individually, and you share the prize, or get both, and the prize is all yours! (Of course, the prize is an item from the movie.)

you can't guess Z you headcase, it is already there.

reply

True, Weaver & Z are the obvious speakers at this point, but can't we all just get along?

I don't think C will be much help...but good logic. Perhaps you can get it now?

reply

It's OK, me and Freakshow get along fine. And, having not seen the film for a while, I have no idea of either of the quotes, so you'll have to be patient - sorry!

"Sit down, before you break another ribcage."

reply

Under the circumstances, I'll take two guesses at a time... :-)

reply

I honestly don't, it really has been a while since I watched the movie last.
But I'll guess Y.
And is the 6th word of the 2nd quote "obsessed"?

I'm sorry, I'll watch the film again soon and figure it out.

"Sit down, before you break another ribcage."

reply

"Yeah, but you get to spend all day with those...beautiful workers girls"
//Weaver

"Weaver, they're career girls, they're obsessed with digging."
//Z

I watched it last night. I cannot believe it took me so long to figure out! Watch this space and I'll come up with one too.

First, for all your hard work, the prize!

Especially handy, during this time of fuel & oil crises, is your one-year supply of Kendall High-Grade motor oil! Keep your engine running at peak performance, and create an Insectopia for your local insects with just a few drops and a pan of water! (Please do not use on ground water.)

Have fun coming up with your own puzzle!

reply

Will do. But you'll probably get it in about half the time it took me!
And wow! What a great prize!

"Sit down, before you break another ribcage."

reply

Sorry I cannot think of one...perhaps you could do another.
