But then, I feel Dreamworks movies as a whole don't compare with Pixar. Pixar researches even minute details, so there are far fewe "goofs".
And timing of Dreamworks movie releases seems to imply riding Pixar's coat tails.
While I agree that Pixar's movies are generally better than Dreamworks', I think this is an exception; to me, A Bug's Life (1998) was mostly forgettable.
Don't listen to the negative ones; their arguments are irrational.
A Bug's Life was great but this was better. It has a much more sophisticated story and set of characters.
shareA Bug's Life is a kids movie. Antz transcends that label. If you favor cuteness and simplicity, sure, then A Bug's Life would be a more suitable viewing.

People are allowed to have their preferences, but I've always found Antz to be funnier and more unique than Bug's Life.
