PG rating?

I like this movie (I prefer A Bug's Life better though) but I'm honestly a bit surprised it kept its PG rating with the amount of cussing and blatant sexual references in it. I also think its interesting that Pixar had so much adult behavior in it. After comparing it to Toy Story and then to all the other Pixar films after it, it seems this movie was more like a "let's see what we can get away with and still keep a PG rating" experiment for Pixar (which is kind of awesome) but I'm just curious if anybody else feels the same?

It's not Pixar...

It's DreamWorks.

It's rated G in my home country (New Zealand) and most US PG films are also NZ PG. Still the G did surprise my considering what's in it.

Not to mention the war scene lol I saw this as a kid and that part was crazy.

Dreamwork's movies are generally rated PG in the United States, where I believe only two of them even carry a G rating, and maybe a third one but no more then 3 at the very most. Now here is the rating reason Rated PG for mild language and menacing action . Disney has even started making more animated movies that Dreamworks has been making in the last 10 years or so, the only difference is that Disney's animated movies are free of any bad language.
