Do you think they will release this for retail sale?

The studio has said they plan to release this digitally, but I don't know if that means Video-On-Demand only or if it will eventually be available for sale as an HD Digtal download or on DVD and Blu-ray. I would love to own a copy of it. We have made it this far with this restoration of the director's true vision, it would be such a shame if they never release it for people to own. I would think the costs of releasing it at least as a Digital Download would be fairly cheap, right? They would certainly make their money back and then some.
