This is by far one of the worst movies that I've ever seen, and I've had the displeasure of seeing Glitter. This one, however, took me a couple of days to get over. Dumbfoundingly horrible!

I agree that it isn't good. But it would be nice to know what you didn't like about it? The original directors cut (not released) is reported to have been much better and more realistic.
shareI saw it in the movie, and I would have to agree with gss2, that Studio 54, the movie was pretty terrible. It truly stunk.

shareToo much emphasis on characters and sub plots. Movie not about the club per se but simply taking place there. That's not what the public wanted or expected. Mite have been better received had it been shot in Robert Altman style ala MASH. Let the setting being the main character. Don't bog down with the petty little problems of petty little people. Let us feel the high, the excitement, the adrenalin not see it from a distant and sober stand point. Not enough research done. Look and feel, size and dizzying variety of larger than life characters completely uncaptured.
