What is so special about Ryan Philippe?

I just don't see it.

Treat others the way you would like to be treated

I thinks that he is very underrated, and find him to be good character actor. And always helps that he is SOOOO hot!!

i also didnt get his appeal back then, just another disposable 90's pretty boy who had his quick 15 minutes in the 90's but he, like Justin timberlake, are both the most annoying irritating actors I can imagine with there dorky cherry curls.

Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!

Y'all just hating. I had mixed emotions. On 1 hand I thought he looks like a model, he could be my man crush, then seconds later I thought boring and for someone so attractive he sure does walk like a backwoods hick. He never cashed in on it, but his stick probably would have been the under dog to get guys on his side to join female admirers. He is often cast as a guy hard to like. In conclusion, I like his stupid blonde gerri curl and though I sometimes left cool on him, he's no worst thsn Channing Tatum.

I like a handful of films he is in, but he is not a great actor IMHO.

He's one of the few guys out there with both great looks and smoulder (an oddly rare combination).

And as an actor, he's gotten better.

In his early work, Ryan looks like the guy that should have it all, because of his looks. However, there's this ting of vulnerability in his voice that lets you know that he's human just like the rest of us.

In his early work, Ryan took chances. He didn't play it safe and went for it. 54, Little Boy Blue, Way of the Gun. Heck, look at the deleted scenes of Cruel Intentions.

Potential. Potential! POTENTIAL! Ryan had the star quality to be a big actor, but after starting a family w/ Reese, he settled for doing one or two projects a year, mostly in supporting roles vs the starring roles that he played in the late 90's / early 00's.

Finally, it didn't hurt that he has a great looking butt and that he's willing to show it off frequently.
