How did Hollywood let this guy get away!!!! This guy is handsome, romantic, and sexy. Whoever let this guy go needs their head tested. This guy could have made a lot of money in many, many films we women would have loved to go see him in. Just watching in this movie made me want to go to Cuba and find another one. He is a winner, and money maker, I saw it in George Clooney years ago when he was in Sisters playing a cop. Although George is a looker, he's not much of an actor, he basically plays the same role over and over again, not much range.

Chayanne was a sure fire winner, too bad no one else saw it, our loss.

Hi gremma,

I agree about Chayanne, he should have worked more in films and/or television. At the time him filmed Dance with Me, his English was lacking. I'm not sure how much he wanted to pursue acting, but he certainly had star quality. I only wish the film had been shorter with faster pacing. I'm sure it would have found its audience.

its the down fall on show biz there's TONS of entertainers that get overlooked that will never get the credit they deserve... and there's TOO MANY entertainers that are soooo overated that make you wanna pull ya hear and scream ect... lol but Im sure you get my point! but you are soo right its a shame cause this dude is FUEGO CALIENTE! latin men are so sexy and hot :D

Guess u havent seen O Brother Where Out Thou? GC plays one of the most off-beat characters ever seen in a movie..!

In order to find another "Chayane", you would have to travel to Puerto Rico as he's a Puerto Rican portraying a Cuban. Cubans and Puerto Ricans maybe siblings from the same parents but there are notable difference among them

the guy is goodlooking(at least at the time of this movie) and a likable personality,but he was all wrong for any dancing movie.He looked just too big and awkward at dancing.Its not he is too big,i think he is 6' or something,but he managed to look so clumsy. He just doesnt have it,as far as dancing.In every scene where he had to dance you wished there was an actor who could be graceful.
In the movie he is not supposed to be a pro dancer of course,but still,we get to watch him dance a lot and he is supposed to be a charming dancer but he isnt.
As an actor,he was ok,he carried the movie,i thought his english was fine.

Isn't he a singer by trade? He even sang one of the songs in this movie! Quite good actually.
