that was so niice!!
was it only amovie thing or stuff like that happens for real?
and what kind of dances do you need to know to dance like that?(only samba or smth, or more latin dances?)

Cuban salsa dancers are pretty clever so I would say most if not all of it was realistic. The bit where they change partners in a circle while one guy calls out the "moves" is called a Rueda (Spanish for "circle").

Learn Cuban-style Salsa and you will dance like that in no time and have plenty of fun. Cubans know how to have fun.

Thank you for the history (Rueda). I just LOVED that part of the movie and didn't want it to end. The dancing was MAGNIFICENT and should have won an Oscar!

Just go out and have fun.
The moves will come on their own.
Remember....heavily crowded, more of the fun.

I don't know where you are located, but almost all of the good salsa clubs I have
been to have free lessons in the early part of the evening.

I've been to a latin club or two where a group of people (who likely have been practicing the moves) were dancing like they did in the movie...switching partners and all doing a "rueda"...it was REALLY REALLY cool...but you could tell they all knew each other unlike the movie that almost seemed like they were complete strangers.

I dance Salsa pretty well, but what I REALLY want to pick up is dancing with 2 girls at once! I've had more then one situation where I'd either like to clone myself OR dance with both at same time...the short guy in the movie in that same scene was handling Vanessa and another pretty hot (proof stature don't mean shizz when you got SKILLZ)!
