I get the story they're trying to put forward and how media was changing at that time and whatever but the guy is a creep. You really get to like Emmett Seaborn and it just seems unrealistic to replace a giant like him with a worm like Hutchins.

I realise we have all seen Apollo 13 and know the story, but I just hated how they did this episode.
And each time I see Jay Mohr in anything I hate it
It was completely unrealistic because it was made up. I do not like this episode. This episode would have made sense as the "wive's story", and the Apollo 16 episode could have been more about that mission, or the Saturn V development. Instead they distract from an otherwise fantastic series to make some kind of commentary about the press using made up people. It didn't work.

shareI refuse to watch this episode again. I watch all the other episodes every year and enjoy them all over again. But Emmett's fall is heartbreaking. I substitute the Apollo 13 movie in its place.
