Camerawork

One thing that really stands out to me in the first two Wishmaster films is how amateur the camera work is, it actually looks like an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000, the zooming in and out is exactly done the same.

Just thought that was a funny observation.

As much as I like this movie, I found it annoying how every important conversation between two people was interrupted by the constant motion of the camera sliding to the left or right for a very cheesy "dramatic effect." Sometimes simplicity is best.

I also felt that the music was too constant. Some dialogue scenes are more effective with no musical backing.

Like im comedy tv shows where the laugh track plays over every single line of dialog, I mean give it a freakin rest already!

Yeah the cinematography isn't that great.

I thought it would have been better given the cinematographer Jacques Haitkin has worked on the following films;
- Galaxy of Terror (1981)
- A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
- A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985)
- The Hidden (1987)
- Shocker (1989)

Don't get me wrong those films don't stand out for brilliant cinemtography but the ANOES films and The Hidden look pretty good.
