No agent for Drew Barrymore?

Egad, I am the second entry posted to this board, but I can understand why this movie would not garner that much interest from IMDB users. There were less than 500 voters when I posted this. Anyway, this movie is soooooooo bad, I wonder if Drew had an agent that really did her job? Or did she have a good agent and didn't take her advice? No agent worth their weight in salt would advise someone as talented as Drew to put in for this movie part. And LeGros is horribly cast as the male lead. Ditto to Jennifer Beals on everything I said about Drew, cause she's a good actress too.

The truth, Mountain Man is Drew had to sign a contract to make this movie if she was to be allowed to be in Woody Allen's "Everyone Says I Love YOu". I don't like either of these movies, but I do love Drew and I watched them only because she was in them. Drew doesn't like "Wishful Thinking" either. As a matter of fact, I think she described it as *beep* in an interview once. LOL

Yep...A lot of stars have to sign contracts like that. Whenever you see a reputable actor do a real stinker they may be a victim of a contract which allows them to work on a great film but requires them also to work on other - possibly crappy - films. I want to say that happened to Anthony Hopkins and Robin Williams as well...But I can't think of which films they had to do...

'Mountain Man' - that kinda tells it all...

'someone as talented as Drew' - I dunno, maybe I'm harsh but Drew (who I personally LOVE) is not quite an Anthony Hopkins... and this one here is one of her best features to appear in. She was lucky that her agent got her the part... If I were you I'd go back to counting voters
