Any extra features on the DVD?

I bought The Winter Guest a few years ago, I think it's a wonderful movie.

It makes me think of Lars Von Trier's "Breaking the Waves", another movie set in Scotland and also starring Sandra Voe, who happens to act in The Winter Guest as well. One may almost think Sandra Voe only acts in Scottish stories.

What I wondered was if anyone knows if there is a DVD release existing with more extra material on it than the theatrical trailer? I'm pretty sure there's no director's comments existing (so typical Hollywood), that would be gold to me, hearing Alan commenting on his own work. But as fans know he would never do anything alike.

But I once saw a very long press conference in Japan (?) where Alan was helped by a Japanese (?) interpretor and it was very interesting bit it took ages until the press conference was finished. I wish there were a DVD existing with some more interviews or on set material.

Anyone knows?

Yes, there is a DVD with something more than a couple of trailers. I just ordered one at Borders and picked it up yesterday. It includes separate interviews with Alan Rickman, Phyllida Law and Emma Thompson (I'm almost finished with Alan's interview....he barely registers a pulse when he speaks...I can't believe he's shown as much emotion in some of his parts as he as, because as himself, he is truly almost comatose). I can't wait to see the interviews with "mother" and "daughter"....Emma is my new completely favorite actress...I just love her to pieces.

It also includes a "Behind the Scenes" section, which I also have yet to see. Love this film.

Oh thank you! But I'm not sure if Borders is available to me. I'm living in northern Europe and it would be great if I could order it online somewhere. Do you happen to have a reference on that DVD edition similarly to an ISBN number of a book? Or maybe you have a link to the DVD online?
Greatful for an additional info!!
Thanks again!

Oh, that line was heard on the set of the 1999 movie "Dogma" by director Kevin Smith. Kevin mentioned it in his autobiography. He was talking to his "other half" (being Silent Bob), you know, Jason his name is I believe, since Jay usually doesn't know his lines and screws up quite often.
