I'd Watch 'Bosie - The Movie'

Lord Alfred Douglas had a really interesting life after Wilde died.

There was the hatred between him and Robbie Ross, even stronger after the fight they had at Wilde's funeral. Also, he was in prison for a while, he had a stormy relationship with a wife who was bisexual and a son who spent a lot of time in a mental hospital.

If they decided to make a movie, I'd watch it. And if they cast Law as Bosie, I wouldn't mind at all.

Bosie was so vile.

She might have fooled me, but she didn't fool my mother.

Your point being?

Frankly, I can't see anyhting interesting enough in Bosie's life and character to be made into a film or biopic.

Plus, he ruined Oscar. I can't feel any empathy for this person.

She might have fooled me, but she didn't fool my mother.

I think all the things I listed before are things that would make a movie about Bosie interesting.

Also, being a horrible person and being a horrible topic for a movie isn't the same thing. Think of The Social Network, it's full of vile people you can't sympathize with and it's a great movie.

I am terribly sorry, but I am really biased when it comes to this topic.
I understand the boy was the product of a dysfunctional family, but IMHO he used Oscar very cruelly.

I wouldn't be excited about a film on Bosie, that's all.

However, I think Jude Law played very well in the film.

I apologise for being rude and vulgar.

Yeah, well, you didn't insult me but a guy who's been dead for ages, so I think there'll be no consequences.

Yeah, I know. I'm a jerk...

I'd watch Bosie!

No thank you.

Boise was, in my mind, the definition of a hanger-on.

I know he was young and attractive, but there's got to be a limit. Meh, hind sights always 20/0, isn't it?

I do wonder if Wilde was aware of badly this guy would destroy him. Going by his actions, he was a brat and bad news. No morals, by the way either.
