Ending ...

Hmm... I'm a sucker for happy endings... how does this ends? Did anyone get together?

Wilde and Bosie lived briefly in France, but as Wilde died in 1900, they can't have been together that long. Bosie, incredibly, lived until 1945.

Thanks for summing it up for me... at least it wasn't as sad as I thought

If you can get your hands on the novelization of the film, it's well worth the read. Actually, I recommend anything by or relating to Oscar Wilde. I mention the novelization because it gives a lot more information than one would pick up from casually viewing the film, and it explains what happened at the end.

Go take a step outside - see what’s shaking in the real world.

The saddest thing of all is that after his trial and imprisonment, he never saw his children again. His grief over this separation, which he describes in letters, is heart-breaking.

According to the ending of the film. . . the written portion, describing what followed after Bosie and Wilde met again, the reunion didn't last more than three months. Because of Wilde's imprisonment his health failed and he died not too long after - 1900. Bosie lived until 1945!
