any good biopics exist at all?

Either documentary or feature, I've never seen one good to great biopic of a historical figure, yet there are great documentaries about some atrociously meaningless things like Toynbee tiles. What's up with that?

Well, there's two other biopics about Wilde, but I guess that you already saw them before writing this.

Anyway, these are the films:

a) Oscar Wilde (1960) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0053149/

b) The Trials of Oscar Wilde (1960) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0054403/

I haven't seen them yet, but I want to bc I didn't like Wilde (1997)...
