the music created a kid movie vibe but i felt like the message and conversations were important and relevant to adults...the music kind of killed some of the moments for me is what i'm trying to say...anyone else feel that way?

There are plenty of films that don't have music playing. I believe most of Bergman's films don't have music.
Anyway, the music in this did feel bleh. It was a little too "jingly" for me.
