looking for a movie

I remember this and one other movie I saw from Hallmark. THe other involved a man returning to a town on asignment from his employer to evaluate the future of a company they run. He finds his long lost father, and reorganizes the local plant to make mini-tractors or bulldozers. trying to find name of that movie.
THis was not bad, kind of liked the scene revealing he could hear all along. I think the mom was murdered or something.
