So how does the movie end?

I absolutely love the book. I received it when I was younger and just recently found it again while doing a little spring cleaning. I immediately began to reread it and it hasn't lost it's appeal.

I heard about the movie and decided to come on here and check it out. After reading all the reviews, though, I'm sad to see the movie is a disappointment to some.

But I am curious, how does it end?

The very end? Something like Turtle figures out that Sam Westing is Julius Eastman. When she gets there, however, he refuses to admit that he's Sam Westing and tries to have security throw her out. Turtle agrees to leave on her own, but only if Eastman accompanies her to the door. As he stands up to leave with her, he nearly falls over from a bruise on his leg. Turtle points out that she kicked Barney Northrup only that day, so he, Northrup, McSouthers, and Westing had to all be the same person. He shows her a room where he keeps the disguses for the four identities and asks which one he should use. She tells him to be himself and he removes his Eastman disguise. He asks Turtle to bring him various momentos (pictures, etc) of the various events that the other members of the game will go through (such as Angela graduating from college). That's about all I can remember.

Oh yah. He like rips his face off. (A mask).

It was terrible. A terrible ending. The only good thing about it was that it meant the movie was over. :/

Whose funeral was it at the end of the movie? I haven't read the book in a few years, but I don't remember any funeral, and the movie didn't make it very clear...

Sandy McSouthers, I believe!
