Finally out on DVD
FINALLY this great movie has come out on DVD ... but only in Australia that I can see....
Still you can always purchase it online.. Just be careful that it will be compatible with your DVD player... It will be Region 4 PAL.

yeah and cheaps as chips at most places 11 bucks or something about 5 us dollars, but sadly it doesn't have the missing 6 minutes shown at cannes or any extras.
shareHey Bazza
Well isn't that typical.....
Surely they coulda put that in as well as outtakes etc....
I'm sure there would be plenty....
WHY don't these "people" understand that most of the public WANT to see all the behind the scenes and silly things??
Would it cost that much more to do that??? Grrrrrrrrrr
Anyway I will still buy the DVD ..... Just adding to my John Schaech collection... WOO HOO...
Cheers

Cheers
Listen im willing to trade my original region 4 copy for Dennis Quaid's "great balls of fire" in any region. Hope youre in Australia though
Spartans, what is your profession!? HARROH!HARROH!HARROH!
It was released through Roadshow Australia and I have contacted them and it's off the market now with NO plans for a re release........
So probably Ebay is your best bet

Where can i get the DVD copy? I have been waiting to get this DVD for yages. I was like in grade 12 and one night after staying up late I happen to watch this movie on TV. I just loved it and I have never been able to remember the name of the movie until now.
shareThe Australian R4 DVD Is HORRIBLE!!!!!
It is in 4:3 FULLSCREEN, Cropped from 2:35.1!!! And the quality is no better than an old VHS.
I demand a Full Widescreen Release!
Maybe when released in the US, it'll be in Widescreen!
I found a copy here in NZ a week ago at Borders. Quality is average, and is in fullscreen :(
shareif they re release it i hope they release the 106 min version, or at least the scenes that are missing from the 97 min version as deleted scenes. As mentioned in the alternate section on imdb.com
"Version shown at Cannes was 106 minutes; distributor Goldwyn recut it to the 97-minute released length"
I have an AVI file of the movie... hate movie piracy but a colleague gave it to me on a blank DVD. It's good quality but I want to buy a proper copy and display it on my DVD shelves with pride!

for anyone in the US unaware (I was till recently), Amazon has it available as "manufactured by demand"...so a good quality bootleg & it lists as being '102 minutes':
