Sexy?

(Unlike what this title might look like, this is actaully a serious question)

Is it just me, or the mood and the female characters on this film are totally sexy (not necesarily hot, though)?

I mean as a guy, Jane, Annie, Nina, The translator on the bus (when the kids are kidnapped), and i will insist: the mood and the attitude that they project (other than utter devastation) in the media center, in Miss Sarajevo contest, in Risto's apartment, or at the restaurant they used to hang out, happen to be sexy to me.

A girl may also find sexy Risto, Zeljko, Flynn, or maybe even Michael. I don't know.

So European, so laid back, sad but still hanging out.

Or maybe I'm just crazy.

No, you are not crazy. Women from certain parts of the world exude a natural sexiness. In other words, some women know how to let their body parts talk without being overt (an idiot with his hat on backwards holding onto his...you know what and thinking he is cool). Some women have a sterile air about them (ask any middle-class American married man and most will have something to say). This is not about sexual conduct or sexual promiscuity. It is about sexual expression from the self. A woman's awareness that her most private components are who she is is the beginning of what makes her sexy.
I am not talking about women being sex objects. I am talking about women as individuals having a self awareness that makes them special in the world we live in.
Hope that helps.
