Defining the genre, and similar films

I love this movie and it's criminally underrated, but I find that this is true of similar movies too. I'm not quite sure how to define them though, the closest I can think of is comedic farce. The most notable example I can think of is a movie called "Blame it on the Bellboy", another film in which a comic mix-up has disastrous results. Some other films I would put into this category include "Top Secret" and "Murder by Death", and I'm sure there are more I'm forgetting.

Wondering if anyone else has any thoughts on how to define the genre of this film, and any other films they feel share a similar vein of humour.
