Teaser Trailer search

I remember first seeing the teaser for this way back when Star Wars Episode IV was re-released in 1997. At the time, my friends and I thought it looked like the coolest thing ever and we were all very excited about it...then a full trailer was released a few months later and our expectations went down. It still looked cool but we could also tell it was going to be a kid happy movie. I was 16 but I was still hoping for something a little more mature at the time. Then I saw the movie and was disappointed.

I've looked online for the teaser trailer but I've never been able to find it, just the full trailer.

I know the teaser begins with the blueish swirl of smoke and light with a narrator and then it jumps into fast paced action with the Stargate theme. The full trailer also uses this music but I haven't ever been able to find a copy of the teaser anywhere.

Not sure I saw the teaser. In fact, I don't remember seeing a trailer at all (though I'm sure I did).

I just remember that somehow I knew I wanted to see the movie and I bought it without having ever seen it. I remember picking it up on VHS from . . . Toys R Us, oddly enough. Long story short, I really liked it, and still like it today. Though yes, it's obviously a kids movie, I thought that the action was extremely well done and Angus McFadyen did an EXCELLENT job as Komodo.
