Moved

As much as I hate the phrase "I was moved..." I must say that the one scene that truly made me feel that way was when Brian O'Halloran had to tell his friend what happened. His crying made me want to cry. And avenge him.

I cried during that scene. Seriously. Brilliant, brilliant acting. My boyfriend was like "Did he get an award for this?"

I just wanted to climb into the screen, embrace him, and let him cry in my arms. The guy's just such a sweetheart, and he gets s**t upon and then violated so brutally. Brian O's best performance, hands down.

Who knew that a film about clown rape could touch the hearts of millions of people?

The seed is planted, I guess.

I was moved too. The drama was primarily effective because this seemed like it would be a much different film at first. Hell, it felt like a dark comedy within the first 20 minutes, so it threw me off even more.

"I've been living on toxic waste for years, and I'm fine. Just ask my other heads!"

That scene was even more uncomfortable than the rape itself. The mood felt just right given the circumstances.
