Did anyone else notice the organisation involved in shooting the tyres on the bus? And how many shots were fired to do it? One man one gun surely?!!!!

shareNot to mention an exploding bus tyre is powerful enough to kill a man within a couple of feet radius. Fortunately it doesn't happen all that often but entire bus stops has been flattened to the ground when some old tyre gave up as the driver stop the bus.
On huge mining trucks with those 6 ft tyres, they often fill half the tyre with water to be able to decrease the air pressure needed. If one of those mothers blow, it's going to be something similar to a smaller bomb otherwise.
So it would have been stupidly lethal to shoot out the tyres from that distance in the movie. My guess is that any LAPD officer should know that.
It is a stupid movie, but this part didn't make me chuckle. I laughed instead in the end when the volcano geyser appeared and there were like bits if fire falling into the running people and got on the legs of the guy whose legs were in casts.
I think this movie also got an award from Razzies for "Unnecesary loss if life"
