where do i get this movie part 2 ?

Seriously. I need to check this out too. Don McKellar, Bruce LaBruce and Harvey Pikar too??? I just had a fellow collector and friend tell me about it today at our record store. Odd that this isn't on DVD.

There is no part 2, I don't even think there was legitimate releases at all whether DVD or VHS! As far as I know it was only shown at festivals. I will make copies for a fee though if anybody wants one - email to carrollATolypenDAWTcom. I have a first generation copy that was taken from the original reel.

According to Alan Zweig himself, Vinyl is "coming out on DVD in January [2007] with lots of extras and it probably won't sell many copies but I can use all the sales I can get."

The DVD will have the movie, in addition to "a completely seperate 'alternate take' version of the film with all different material. It won't be as much fun as the original film but it will be a bit more like the film that people originally expected. More directly about record collecting."
