Horrible errors in the FAQ

What's wrong with IMDB FAQs? I don't think I have seen one that would be absolutely correct. They have a lot of mistakes, ranging from silly, goofy and lame to atrocious, horrific and completely illogical stuff. They spell things like 'Darth Vader' wrong, and this time..

.. this time, it says this in the FAQ:

[The question is about the number of 'Vacation' movies]
"There are five. Vegas Vacation was preceded by Vacation (1983), European Vacation (1985), and Vegas Vacation (1997), and followed by the 14-minute video short Hotel Hell Vacation (2010). "

First of all, that small tidbit of information does not list FIVE Vacation movies.

Second of all, how on Earth does a movie precede itself? "Vegas Vacation was preceded by Vegas Vacation". REALLY? Was it now?

At least the word 'preceded' was written correctly, and there do not seem to be any obvious 'american typos' there. But a lot of the time, there are.

Who checks or proofreads these FAQ files? When regular users can't easily correct the mistakes, they are bound to stay there for extended periods of time.

I just can't understand the kind of unprofessional sloppiness. Why take it upon yourself to write a FAQ answer, if you are the kind of individual who can't do it correctly? Wouldn't it be better to not have an answer than to have a horribly wrong answer?

On top of all of that, the list completely omits any mention of "Christmas Vacation", probably the most popular of the 'Vacation' movies, or at least second popular, right after the original 'Vacation' (I have not checked this, it's merely just an estimation - but I'd be surprised if I were wrong about this).

It also fails to mention this movie:

Is that not a 'Vacation' movie? In how many ways can a FAQ answer be wrong?

Why are there so many similar mistakes, errors, goofs and so much sloppiness of this kind in this world, in addition to the whole internet being saturated and infested by 'american typos'? What's WRONG with you people?

In case you don't believe me or even know what 'american typos' are, here:

The state of the world and internet's grammar, the amount of 'american typos' floating around, and the 'quality' of almost any written article points out to the shocking truth;

This planet is populated by two-legged, apelike, dumb half-animals, who cannot do the simplest things without making tons of mistakes, and who do not even realize they made those mistakes, and even if they did, wouldn't care to correct them. Because they are busy earning 'profit' for a faceless corporation by ripping off the poor.

There is an "edit" button, so that enlightened ones such as yourself can correct any submitted errors.

Not quite sure about that last sentence of yours, but next time you put on your underoos and leave your mom's basement for school, ask your English teacher about clauses and such while you're there.
