I loved this, better than the original!

Not sure why this is getting bad reviews.. while sure, there may be technical anamolies and what not.. the story is fairly true to the original (no drug running in this one, which I find more atune to the modern times we're in).. the classic lines of the original are still there.. they even toasted a firebird at the end instead of a Challenger, just like the original version.

I enjoyed this immensly... I say give it a shot. then go back, and watch the first one.. and tell me which you think is better.

Yes did same, watched this for the first on BBC as a late night movie and was blown away with it. Found it just now again on youtube, bad quality but even that bad quality didnt stop me from watching because i like it that much.
So its a remake, personally i think this is what the original shouldve been. Its full of errors, yes, what movie doesnt have em, but the story grabs you and dont let go, in my book, thats the definition of a good movie.
But everyone probably complaining about bad remake because Gilda Texter was nude and Peta Wilson wasnt. And to be honest, Wilson owned Texter in sexiness and didnt even have to take clothes off to do it.
Well, maybe not fair, Wilson is totally my type while Texter i would just pass by even if she smiled at me.
Prefer woman with strong facial features over girly plastic barbie doll lookalikes.
