Jesus, no wonder he took so long...

This guy is all over the map.
Albuquerque, then Gallup(OK so far), then Sedona, then Monument Valley(And Blanding), then Glen Canyon, then Sedona again, then from the reservation "west" to the "Salt Lake desert". If he would quit going north/south when he needed to go west, and east when he needed to go north, he would have done much better. After his stay on the Res, he goes to Salina, UT, then ends up in Az, being chased by Utah Highway Patrol cars for some reason. They even set the roadblock up in AZ, and somehow in the 30 miles to the border, he hits THAT misplaced roadblock. Lucky for him, after running the roadblock in AZ, he sleeps in the car and wakes up in Idaho. Amazingly enough, given his less than adequate map-reading skills, it looks like he actually even shows up in the RIGHT part of Idaho.

Really, they needed to pay attention to continuity in this movie. What a cluster coitus.
