Actually the airplane boneyard scene highlighted what a jackhole Jimmy Kowalski was. He absolutely didn't care about anyone but himself. Didn't check if anyone was hurt in either the crashing cars or the explosion.
I lost what little sympathy I had for him at that point. Didn't care if he made it or not. In fact, I fast forwarded through most of the rest of the movie.
