Well the Vampire Journals are an off-shoot of the "Subspecies" franchise, of which you can find four films. just do a search for subspecies (There is Subspecies, Subspecies 2:BloodStone, Subspecies 3: Bloodlust and Subspecies 4: Bloodstorm) and you will find them.
Subspecies 4 even has Ash and Serena in it, the first of whom is Radu's Disciple whom he mentioned in the labyrinth whilst talking to Zachary.
That should be enough to get your juices flowing....
