Whatever happened to Kirsten Cerre?

Apparently she didn't do anything in films or TV for another 5 years, and then nothing after that. She had an exquisite, innocent beauty and a natural acting style that accentuated the innocence of her character and the tragedy of her terrible fate.

Male vampires, when you think about it, are the ultimate sexual predators. They are driven by more by power, hunger, and anger than lust. As Sofia, Kirsten Cerre was the epitome of the victim who did not deserve what she suffered, in an excellent acting job. It's a pity that this role was apparently a dead end for her and other cast members who obviously had talent.

Why some actors and actresses make it and others don't I'll never know. It certainly isn't just a matter of talent. I hope Kirsten is doing something that makes her happy. It's the movie world's loss. She was very talented.
