I'm happy for Peter Fonda

He got a good role to play and won an Oscar nomination. He'd been around, in many movies, but this one shows what a fine actor he really is. Must have made him feel good. Way to go.

In this film, Peter Fonda reminded me so much of his father, Henry Fonda. This is the best acting that I have ever seen from Peter Fonda. This film must have been underpromoted when it was released. I had never heard of it until I saw the 'This' network showed it on TV. Ulee's Gold was one of the better movies shown on 'This'.

Yes. It's very possible to imagine Henry Fonda starring in an earlier version of "Ulee's Gold" set in the late 1960s, with Ulee a WWII veteran still having trouble coming to grips with his combat experiences.
