The Ugly 2

I think they should make a sequal. i have a plot idea. Simon is now loose, and the Uglies (visitors) are still forcing him to kill. Karen's husband/brother/whoever becomes obsessed with finding him. He follows Simon's trail of murders, and eventually finds him. He kills Simon, and on his dying breath Simon says "They're gone. They're finally gone." Later on Karen's husband/brother is talking to one of his friends about what happened. His friend goes into the bathroom and the Uglies appear to Karen's husband/brother, Simon is now one of them. He says "Now do you understand?" and hands Karen's husband/brother a knife. It shows his friend in the bathroom washing his hands, we see the reflection of the door slowly opening in the mirror. Karen's husband/brother comes in and raises the knife.

Wasn't Karen's brother killed in the 1st movie ? -that being said I would also like to see a sequel ,hopefully as well executed(no pun intended)as the original.

It was Julie's brother that was killed. We don't know if Karen has one
or not though. We do know that she was divorced from her husband.

I think a sequel would go nowhere and would add nothing good. Though someone once said to me "if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all" but I must say that the OP's ideas are just trying to regain that which was in the original, and not in a good way. I'm sorry but what I read was just awful.

If I had the power to delete any five threads on the IMDB, this one would be in the Top 2. I sincerely hope that no one with money and a camera reads the original post. The Ugly is just fine the way it is, and it's one of the very, very few decent films that aren't in danger of being ravaged by sequelitis.

To the original poster: May a comet strike your PC, and graze your fanny on it's way back into orbit.

Wow, not only did you completely miss the point of the movie, but also have written what is possibly one of the most poorly conceived plot descriptions ever. I hope you melt.

I hope they don't. This film she stay great on it's own. Sequels always ruin slasher series, as they are always inferior.

You want a cookie little girl!

Give the OP a break. Whether or not his idea works is irrelevant. He's just a fan of the series and wants it to continue. I want a sequel too. The director isn't doing anything. He did a great job with this, so maybe he could do it again. As for ideas on how to make it work... idk. It seems like he really gave his all in this one. Logically, it would be about him evading the police. Where it goes from there is anyone's guess.

reply

Yeah, it sounds like the OP just wanted a sequel was pitching an idea.
