dont think they will do a sequel but it would be pretty cool though. a plot set in morocco with the lewis twins having a bit of a drug infested paradise after discovering the charlie in the speedboat. maybe they could bring in a mate or 2 cos lets be honest, no matter where you go in the world, theres always some sucker you know from somewhere there!!! they could even bring in some police action or something like that due to them being on the lose after the death of their parents and terry walsh. my conclusion is, they probably could do it but cant be arsed really!!

Or maybe they could do a prequel - showing how the twins got into their delinquent behaviour, why Terry came to work in Swansea, what the origin of his feud with Dai is... and more about Bryn, who IMO is the best character in the film!

But better than a prequel, they could release a new DVD version to mark the 10th anniversary which actually has some extras on (current one has none) - like deleted scenes (there must be some), the trailer, which featured a scene not in the film, and the documentary about the making of the film, which was on TV just before it came out.

a great sequel would be that Terry Walsh managed to free himself from the coffin before he drowned and is now out for revenge against the Twins and re-unites with his old bent copper partner Gray who could now be married to Bryn's Wife and manages to twist his arm to go after the Twins.

Great idea, but i doubt you'd get dougrae scott or rhys ifans to do it, now they are to famous. and i met the guy who played grayo in pontypridd and he's a d*ck. he wouldn't talk about twin town and when i kept on about the film he got up and stormed out of the pub, you'd think he'd be proud of the best thing he's ever acted in.

Yep a plot set in france because thats how far they got in the boat, there mission is to get to morroco but via France, Spain, Ibiza then steal another boat to morroco. They could meet up with Dai whos now doing karoakes in Ibiza with bonnie. They could be pursued by some more police.

There is no need for a sequel. This is a stand alone movie. Besides, how many Welsh movies have become franchises? HOW GREEN WAS MY VALLEY: REGREENED. Not likely.

reply

Its a fair idea, but its not needed. Part of the joy of the first film was the fact that you know the twins cannae get to morocco, the fact they don't know about the cocaine. Asides, you cannae top the ending to twin town in any sequel, or any other film. The sight and sound of the choir brings more than a tear to my eye, its beautiful and poignant with the death of Terry, the burial of Fatty, and the Welsh flag. It was a beautiful film, and lets leave it at that shall we?

I'd say so. Everyone dies except the twins, Greyo, Bonnie, Bryn's wife and Dai Reese.

If I was one of the twins, I'd first shoot Terry with the flare gun, beat him รก la Tuco Torture Scene from The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, ask him if he has any last words and then knock him out so he wouldn't be conscious AND THEN lower him in the water with the Welsh Flag.
