Ok I am going to say something controversial...

I like this movie.

I saw this film in theaters when I was about 5 or 6 and loved it! at that time story or characters weren't the reason why I liked it. I loved all of the colors and the cool cars.

Does anyone else share these nostalgic feelings I have for it or is it just me?

I watched this film on netflix to bridge the disconnect between Zeo and Turbo Power Rangers. I was 12-13 when the Power Rangers Turbo series was on TV, and then I stopped watching after Tommy was shown the door.

I thought the movie really sucked and some more dialogue could have been added. Jason (the former red/gold ranger)'s character made no reference to him holding the Gold Ranger powers (I know he lost them a bit before the end of Zeo). No mention of Kim coming back from her sporting games and it just seemed like she was just thrown in there just to get some more seats filled at the screen.

I can understand why you don't like it but I never really followed the show before I watched it. I honestly just liked the action, the gadgets and all the colors. I still like it for nostalgic value. I get where you are coming from.

I hated the movie, hated the idea of cars being zords because that means they were worthless independently. I hated Justin most of all, he was annoying and only got worse as the t.v. series went on. Divatox was annoying. Jason and Kimberly should have played larger roles.

I agree with you about Justin, he was annoying. I didn't like Tanya too much either. I've heard that the idea was (since JDF wanted to leave, and I think Nakia did too) was for Kat to become the yellow Turbo for the show, Kim the pink, and Jason the red. That would have been awesome.

I don't blame Blake at all for the character, Blake's actually pretty cool. I blame the writers that wanted Turbo to be slapstick comedy like Carranger. They're the ones who ruined it, watching the season they act like Zeo never happened (and have un explained changes, like the Power Chambers appearance). Just because I didn't like the character doesn't mean I blame the actor for how he was written.
I stick by what I told my friend, that they SHOULD have brought Justin into it, but waited years to make him a ranger. I've heard that he was approached fto do Overdrive, but turned it down.

What will this show be called and where can I see it? I personally love this movie (much more than the series, even as a kid I thought Turbo wasn't as good as what came before), but I do like Nostalgia Critic style reviews.

I think it was the whole Turbo using cars to morph type thing. I was never a fan when Power rangers did this. also using a kid to morph into an large teenager or adult ranger didn't sit right with me. Although I'd say Devatox was my favorite villain (drools).

I loved this movie as a kid, I used to watch it all the time along with a vhs tape I had of Power Rangers In Space. So many great nostalgic memories. Then I remember watching Power Rangers Lost Galaxy whenever I could.

I saw this in theaters back in 1997 as well and I was 13 at time. I was interested to see what was going to unfold in the movie, I still like it and I still find Justin annoying. I did feel the producers went the cheap route in selecting this particular Sentai series for their new season, I thought ZEO was just fine, I'd actually would've preferred a movie version of that series, but oh well.

I did like the digital effects in this film compared to its predesscor since the effects were slightly more updated for 1997 film standards. Every now and then I'll catch TURBO: APM from time to time broadcasted on FOX Movies HD, looks really good in High def btw.

In the end I guess I was surprised their costumes weren't armored like the ones from the first movie (which I preferred).
