SPOILERs Did editing ruin this film?

Call me crazy, but I'm part of the minority that likes this movie. But I don't like it that much. That part that I don't like is that it doesn't seem like there is enough in the film. There are a lot of great scenes that are cut from this film, as stated by this website. Among them:

The destruction of the Zeo zords and powers

The Jason/Kimberly romance

More about Justin, who seems sort of unnecessary for being a new ranger

The mermaid ally who would have been interesting helping the team

Now I can understand why some of them got cut. But I do wish that they would release an extended edition of the film that includes what was left out.
