Yeah it was. They are saying it is the first full length feature that he has ever directed. They do not count TV movies and tv episodes as feature films as they do not have to undergo the scrutiny of a film that is playing in theaters. It is a completely different thing than putting your name on a TV movie you star in that one one takes seriously anyway or a hour long at the most television show. This is different. I didn't think it was a masterpiece. But there is definitely a reason it is called his first theatrical feature directorial debut.
