I agree, this movie wasn't the best. Theonly part of the movie i liked was the end when Jerry (her new boyfriend and newly discovered rapist) was taken to jail to a confrontation room to see her. He says 'Ravish me' and she leans over to him and says 'Tell that to the guys in jail'.

haha...i cant believe i watched it all the way through... i want that hour back!

I liked the movie.

I love the movie..but she is a much better dancer than actor.

I didn't think she was very bad in the film. What exactly didn't you like about her performance?

I also liked Jerry's character, it was well-played. Yeah, the plot was a bit thin and predictable, but that blame really lies with the writers, not the actors. They can only do their best with the material they are given. And even then, the editors might screw it up after the fact! And last but not least, the director should "fix it" if the final product falls short.

i have seen this movie and i think she did a good job. i mean, especially since she probably has never had any acting lessons. i would like to see her act some more (just like i want to see her sing again). paula is just an overall talented person. good at everything she does =)

isn't that judging thing a night job?

I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, "... I drank what?"

She wasn't the worst actress, but not the best either. Some scenes came off as phony, and even cringe-worthy. She tends to talk with her teeth too tightly clenched, almost like Jennifer Jason Leigh. But the ones where she showed fear or strength seemed very realistic.

Yeah her acting is bad.

Okay, I'm really a huge Paula fan, which is what prompted me to see this movie in the first place. However, I think what judges a true fan is those who don't see the performer behind rose-coloured glasses and view absolutely everything that comes out of them as pure gold, even when it really isn't. She was...relatively a bit believable as being scared, but the rest of it...just...no. Maybe this wasn't the movie for her, I don't know...But I can't believe I actually sat through this rubbish. Rape is a serious subject, and yet I still laughed through a good 90% of this movie...a bad script is a bad script, yes, but good actors can still manage to make a bad script semi believable, and pull off their characters. Meryl Streep in Mamma Mia, anyone? A bad script can't be blamed for everything.
