Isn't this movie based on the murder by Elizabeth Duncan aka "mother
Duncan" who was the last women executed in California?

I just watched this movie today and it said at the end that she was the last woman executed in California.

This movie could have been a lot better. I wish they would have devoted more time with her on death row, and been more detailed when she went to the gas chamber, it would have made the movie a lot better.

I dont think so.
The son seemed like he couldnt stand her being around all the time. Didnt he think she was weird?
I know! they should have showed more detail, they sort of just jumped the gun.
