Teri Hatcher should have been Bond girl, not Michelle Yeoh.

She should have been a Bond girl, not Michelle Yeoh. Michelle Yeoh would have been better if she was secondary Bond villain, she doesn't fit as Bond girl, IMO. Such a bad decisions.

FUCK YOU!!! MICHELLE YEOH IS EVERYTHING!!! TOTAL BADASS, BEAUTIFUL, INTELLIGENT, DAMN GOOD ACTRESS!!!!!

Although she did rather overshadow Pierce Brosnan, something Teri Hatcher could never do.

reply

I still would've loved her if she was villain. I enjoyed Teri Hatcher's character, but her parts were just small. I think it's because she was pregnant at the time.

"Although she did rather overshadow Pierce Brosnan, something Teri Hatcher could never do." I hate to say this, but I agree lol.

If Yeoh's character had turned out to be a villain... she'd have kicked Brosnan Bond's ass! I mean I really like Brosnan, but there's always been something a bit lightweight about him.

Which definitely isn't true of Michelle Yeoh or Daniel Craig, and if they want to bring Yeoh back as a villainess I'm all for it! She's still awesome, after all these years! They could even bring her character back, as part of China's plot to financially undermine the west, or bring the character back and make it unclear whether she's an enemy or an ally. That sort of thing is always good for a bit of suspense.

Eh I liked both of them . There’s nothing wrong with this movie at all it’s just kind of generic

reply

I agree. Generic is the perfect word for it. I thought Yeoh had a strong presence though, and wasn´t the problem with the movie of which there were many.

reply

No way that role would have worked with Teri Hatcher.

Michelle Yeoh however was perfect for the part. Although it's less "Bond Girl" and more one of Bond assistant / co-star.

When you watch the films in order it stands out that this marks the beginning of the transition from proper Bond films to what we've landed up with Daniel Craig....

reply

But Teri Hatcher doesn't look like a Chinese agent so it wouldn't work

reply

Nah Michelle owned her role. Would say that there could have been some more scenes of Teri though.

reply

So you wanted an American woman to play the role of a Chinese agent?

reply

Michelle Yeoh was the only watchable element of this movie.

reply

Teri was a Bond Girl. Just one of the minor victim ones.

Yeoh pulled this role off great.
